Cleveland Park Yoga offers creative vinyasa yoga classes for students of all levels.
Vinyasa yoga is a style which focuses on breath and movement. You will build strength and flexibility, cultivate mind/body awareness and balance engagement with relaxation.
Modifications and variations are offered throughout practice so that a practitioner of any experience can feel comfortable yet challenged.
frequently asked questions
do i need to sign up ahead of time for class?
Nope! All classes are on an ongoing drop in basis. We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before class to sign in, set up, and have a few minutes to sit quietly before beginning practice.
Some workshops may require pre-registration.
what should i bring to class?
We have sticky mats for use during class, but we encourage you to bring your own mat. We also have some blocks, straps, and blankets. Other items you may want to bring include a hand towel, water, or an eye pillow.
what should i wear?
should i eat before class?
Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach. It is best not to eat anything substantial up to 2 hours before class.
i've never done yoga before. is this class for me?
Many of our students took their first yoga class at Cleveland Park Yoga. It is a safe environment to begin learning as long as you arrive with a desire to learn, play, and smile!
